[Elecraft] XG1 test oscillator

I totally agree with the usefulness of a calibrated test oscillator and 
also an attenuator.

Many posts have implied that a low (or high) S meter reading indicated a 
low (or high) sensitivity.
Usually this is really just the gain of the agc amplifier or the S meter 
calibration and is independent of the MDS or sensitivity.

Of course a malfunctioning AGC could reduce the gain of the receiver so 
that the MDS was not as good.

Now Allen, I wonder what the MDS of the TS-830 was?
