[Elecraft] K2/100 and KAT100 odd behavior

I use my K2/100 with the 100w atu to drive my Acom 1k amp on 160m and I can
assure you that my K2 does not behave in this manner. I generally have to
set the drive level to around 30w to stay within the Irish 400w limit out
of the amp, I have no problems whatsoever as I move around the band with
the k2 varying the output power.
the Acom 1k terminates the rig into a 50 Ohm load so the input impedance
with this amp is fairly constant
I have never had any problems whatsoever with the k2 driving this amp
