Finished the final alignment of K2 #3890 this week using spectrogram -
really is an excellent way of doing the filter alignment - but the latest
version does not seem to match the instructions in the article but I got
there!

Built installed the SSB module today and all seems well. nice audio and easy
to build.

Spent the saturday afternoon at DL1EJA QTH with my K2 barefoot on his
fritzel multiband beam... great fun ... working LU/PY/FY on 18,14 and 21 MHz
.. sat listening to the 15m band full of US stns complaining of the cold LOL
and then decided to try 40m and creme de la creme - worked VK on 40m using
10W ... hee hee what a radio! ... Oliver was very impressed and will
hopefully give him some encourgament to finish his K2 now!

Some real improvements in the radio now and Ollie was impressed by the clean
audio ,,, we spent sometime listening to stations on his FT847 and the K2 ..
comparing results but the K2 walked it!

Guess his 847 will be for sale soon :-)))

thanks to the Elecraft gang for such a great little radio...

now to get the transverter for 2m built in time for the contest season
