[Elecraft] MP1 antenna - any user experiences??

Hi Simon,
I think in your position I would use one of Richard's (G3CWI) telescopic=20
fishing poles attached in some fashion to the balcony so it runs=20
horizontally outwards.  Run a wire from the tx out to the end of the=20
pole then suspend it vertically down as far as you like; possibly=20
weighted at the bottom.  This is essentially an inverted, inverted 'L'=20
:-)  With a K2 and KAT2 it should tune nicely.  Any tuning probs on an=20
individual band then just adjust the length of the wire a bit.

Cheaper, and I dare say, more effective than a commercial short=20
vertical.
