Definitely try spinning those caps first! It's been a common issue with =
the
trimmers for years. When they arrive from the factory, the rotors do not
make good electrical contact with the terminal. Spinning them around a
number of times removes whatever is on the contacts and they are FB and
stable from then on. My K2 is almost four years old (S/N 1289) and =
needed
that treatment when it was first aligned. Ever since the adjustments =
have
been absolutely stable.=20

After assuring yourself that all is correct, spin the adjustment caps =
for 20
meters around 10 or 20 times - many need 'breaking-in' before they work
correctly, then try peaking the bandpass again. (You COULD try this =
first if
you wanted to - without tearing into the board).

I'm at the Transmitter Alignment on page 74 of the manual. I can peak =
the
output on all bands except 20&30.

On 20m adjusting L8 and L9 there is no apparent effect in output. On =
30m
adjusting L8 with up to four clockwise turns I see power continuously
increasing until the display shows HiCur.

I found no ideas in the archives; this K2 is #3751. Any ideas that I =
can
quickly check before disassembling the rig for board check?
