[Elecraft] No shift from VFO A to VFO B?

My K2 is permanently in "SPLIT" even though I last used "SPLIT" probably =
six
months ago. That is "Split" meaning that I was working a station on =
another
frequency some distance from my xmit frequency.

I use SPLIT instead of RIT, since it allows me to do my RIT "tuning" =
using
the big tuning knob instead of that dinky little knob under the buttons.
It's nice to be able to wobble the big knob about if the other guy is a =
tad
off freq, or if I want to hear a slightly different sidetone, etc.=20

In RIT you have to remember to turn it off when "setting up" on another
frequency. In SPLIT all I do is tap A=3DB to put the miter on whatever
frequency I'm tuned to.

In any case, it's worth getting it working right. =20
