[Elecraft] No shift from VFO A to VFO B?

Members -
this past weekend was in part spent happily getting acquainted with my new
to me gently-pre-owned K2. What a wonderful radio.
People are still intrigued by the K2 when mentioned in qsos and it seems
many are thinking seriously about getting one - the vibe on them is so good!
(Eric and Wayne et al are saying: "So they should go ahead and GET one!")

One small possible glitch I think I encountered was that the VFO button
when tapped does not take me from VFO A to VFO B. It just stays on A. Nor
does the button, when in HOLD, go to VFO REVerse (probably not surprising
given the lack of the second vfo to show up...)

Seems to me the button simply does not work, probably. Bad switch or a
solder joint I think?

I doubt there is any chance this is a firmware issue all.
(unless I missed somewhere in the manual wherein you are allowed to lock
the VFO to one vfo only...)

Anyhow I thought I would ask - it would be this weekend at least or more
before I could disassemble and check the switch solder connections with the
soldering iron/continuity tester and even I did so I'd probably get a new
switch on hand just in case so as to not have to go invasive again.
In any case it is a minor issue to me since I rarely if ever work split nor
do I have to set one versus another for any favourite frequencies.

tnx
