     Talk of firmware upgrades reminded me that I have a feature request.
I would like to be able to send cw at the correct offset while in SSB
mode.
     In UHF/VHF contesting, cross-moding or switching quickly between CW
and SSB is quite common, but very few portable radios do this gracefully.
My 706m2 lets me set the mode button to toggle between cw and ssb, but
doesn't auto-adjust the offset.  The FT100 does the offset adjust, but
doesn't let me toggle.  My MFJ Adventure rigs are the only ones I have
that let me just grab the key when I hear cw on ssb or when the calling
operator can't make out a voice report.
     As an HF rig, the K2 doesn't really need this feature.  As an IF rig,
it would be a real selling point.
