[Elecraft] KPA100 problems

David,

My K2 #3777 exhibits the same problem. It is not a "problem" in most
cases since a change of few watts has virtually no impact at the
receiving end.

HOWEVER, it is a real problem when I use the K2/100 to drive an amp. I
find it very difficult to properly tune my SB-1000 linear when the
output from the execiter (K2) is bouncing up and down.

Properly loading the grounded grid 3-500Z amp requires it to be fully
loaded, so a random step change in exciter output from 35 to 40 to 37 to
42 etc. makes tuning a genuine pain.

Otherwise my KPA 100 is perfect in all respects.

Yes, it certainly would be nice to kill this bug.

I have double checked all component locations and they are correct. I have emailed elecraft support and have not got much help. I have tryed realigning R26 and R27 but it made no difference. I also double checked the bias current. Ant suggestions???
