[Elecraft] Elecraft CW Net questionaire

Good Day to you all,
    I am thinking of resuming a double sked for ECN.  An early net on 20 meters and a 
later net on 40 meters.  The first net will run as usual on or near 14050 kHz but I may 
move it earlier to take advantage of the propagation on 20 earlier in the day.  The 40 
meter net will be a bit more regional and I will need some assistance by a few good ops.  
Since we may have to relay across the US and Canada to get the QNS back to me we 
may just as well break the net into regions to begin with.  Then East can pass to 
Central and Central can pass to West if the band does not allow East to talk to West.  
Some experimentation is in order before we attempt this.  Could folks give me an idea 
of how far 40 meters works for them at 0100z or 0200z?  Then I would have some idea 
of which of you on the list of ECN check ins could work as regional NCSs or as relay 
stations.  
   The whole idea for ECN is to get folks involved and to find other Elecraft folks to chat 
with.  It is a good way to check propagation and to just hear the rest of the group.  
You also get to critique my sending skills (or lack of same :)  When you hear the QTC 
part of our CQ we really do mean it.  If you want a contact just holler and we'll move 
you up or down and you can shoot the breeze.
    Any thoughts or ideas on this new plan should be sent to me off the list.  I'll post a 
summary of my findings when I get a critical mass of data.
