Yes, they are more expensive but I recommended the Optivisor as well for =
a couple of reasons: =20

The Optivisor has *glass* lenses and unlike cheaper versions with =
plastic lenses the Optivisor lenses won't (inevitably) get scratched up. =
Thus in addition to the an inherent superior optical quality of glass =
they'll likely last longer as well.=20

Another reason to go with an Optivisor is the lens snaps in/out in case =
you ever need to replace or change the lense to a different =
magnification (I use the 'plate 5' lens giving 2.5X magnification at =
8").

I picked up a NIB Optivisor off eBay for < $25.

I have no afflilation with whoever manufacturers/sells the Optivisor, =
just a satisfied user.
