Why this high a frequency? I couldn't understand Ron's problem at all until 
I read this. You should pick a frequency in the center of the main SSB 
filter passband, to avoid asymettrical attenuation of the audio tones on 
transmit. I use 1200Hz, and I had no problem setting up narrow filters 
without having to mess around using reverse sideband.

Go to the elecraft mailing list archeives and do a search on rtty.

I just made this adjustment yesterday.  It's easiest to use spectrogram and
put a target line on 2125 hz.
