Hi,
I use MMTTY with N1MM Logger on RTTY and it works very well. I use the
normal filters I have set up for PSK31. They are centered at 1000 Hz, so I
adjust the frequency in MMTTY to be centered in these filters. It works
out to be 915/1085 Hz. One of the filters is 500 Hz wide, so I use that,
or else the next wider one. I have the DSP filters centered at the same
audio frequencies and the same bandwidth as the xtal filters, and they work
well too. If I try to use 2125/2295, they are way out of range of the K2
audio spectrum. You can readjust the K2 filters if you want to use
2125\2295 but you may have trouble getting that high frequency, but I see
no reason to not use 915/1085. There are no spurious responses if you
operate in the linear mode. I set the power about 75 watts on the K2/100
and about 10 watts on the K2 and advance the audio level using a pot in the
interface until I get 50 watts, watts on the K2, output. You probably can
go higher, but the finals get pretty hot even with a little fan on the heat
sink, and the power level is only 3 dB down from max at 50 watts. The
efficiency is higher than the two tones of PSK31, but the finals still get
hot on continuous duty. I only operate at 30 watts (5watts on the K2) on
PSK31 and the other digital modes.
