I get over 300-400 SPAM emails a day to my [email protected] mail box and must use extensive filtering to move most of it to a SPAM folder for later review. Unfortunately SPAM Blocker is not the solution for those who want to read email lists. There are other anti SPAM solutions that will catch 99% of SPAM email and will not overburden email senders.

hi Eric - in an attempt to be helpful, I'll point out that the latest paid 6.x version of Eudora (not very expensive, see http://www.eudora.com/) has a built in spam filter, and so does the 1.5 release of the Mozilla browser (free, see http://www.mozilla.org/). I think Eudora has a slightly better junk-mail interface.

Each of these mailers uses a "learning algorithm" where you teach the program what is junk and what is not - each program is preloaded with rules so you are not starting from scratch - all junk mail is directed to a junk folder for double checking before trashing- after a very short time you will find the program is well trained and is seldom junking ing good mail, or missing bad mail.

hope this helps! - jeff wk6i
