Julian:
I don't have the DL1, but it is true the K2 can't put out as much power 
on the higher bands.  If you are using a 13.8V supply, you should be 
getting about 10 Watts at 10M.  You'll get double that amount on 40M.  
If you are using a supply that puts out considerably less than 13.8V 
(like 12.0), expect to not even reach 10W at 10M.  At least that's been 
my experience.
