[Elecraft] K1 Manual and manuals in general

I'm just building up a K2, and found that there are still intructions
that say to 'linearize" the VFO on 160 in the PDF manual on the web,
which I'd think should be up to date. The give INFO232, of course,
but an email list archive search turned up a number of references that
reinforced my memory about this.

You know, I've been thinking about this. An IDEAL system would be to print
manuals "on the fly" as each kit is put together to go out the door. With
the advent of high speed printers and binding equipment, this really would
be easy to do. Oh, you bought the K1 with the antenna tuner and the 4-Band
filter board? Well, here's a manual just for you, with all the steps in
order and no flipping back and forth between the 4band manual and the
"standard" K1 manual. The other benefit of this is that there would be NO
need for errata sheets, as any changes would be made in software and the
manuals printed out as needed, in realtime.

Just an idea for the future. :-)

PS: Is there any interest in a linear amplifier for the K1?
