Jim,
These two mods have not been incorporated. (The ALC mod has been standard
for some time.)
The IM mod in the KI6WX document should only be done if one has done the
increased gain mod - John does have that stated in his document.

Thanks for the info on the use of pro mics.  I do have a couple around
somewhere.  When I get everything unpacked, perhaps I will try one for the
ham station.
