Hi Bruce,

Some clarification is in order here. Yes, there is a fourth memory, but it is
the "working" memory for each band; it's not something you can use for general
store/recall as with the other memories. You're correct that you can update this
working memory on each band by simply tapping BAND. But the working memory is
also save whenever you *change* bands. So, if you want to preserve your present
frequency before you turn power off, you can either BAND once (which does not
change bands) or tap it twice, switching to the next band in the process.
