Hey all!
First I will thank to all that replied to me regarding 4Mhz osc =
adjustments.
Thanks to Ken N4SO for good description of adjustments.
I checked up against wwv at 10Mhz and the result before adjustments =
where not bad , Zero at 9999,8 but I realigned anyway. Now zero =
10000,00.( after my ears).
Made final adjustments and was going to put the radio on air. DARN!!!! =
The rx was absolutly def.
It was ok after stage 2 on rf board.
After an hour looking at schematics and on the rf board with a =
magnifying glass I found my error. J10.
Preinstalled connector for KSB2.=20
A small bit of solder taking signal to ground.
Removed solder and resoldered and the rx came to life.
Thought it would be in that area since tx workes fine on every band and =
trx voltages was OK and preamp/att worked. It had to be from mixer and =
forward.
Anyway , just few hours ago K2 #3829 made contact with DK6DW and UA3DCZ =
   on 40 meters.
Rx extremly sensitive and all bands 15 watts out except 10meters that =
gives 12-13 watts.
I also found that alc at 3,6 volts gave better results than 3,8 in the =
manual. To low alc voltages gives stranges s-meter readings even after =
calibrating s-hi/lo.
Now waiting for missing parts in ksb2 and I will complete the K2 for all =
band.
Happy new year everybody.
