[Elecraft] KSB2 Mod's

Gentlemen,

I am in a quandry.

I recently completed K2#3863 & having a ball on CW.  Now I have received 
some options that I am installing in this order: NB, SSB, DSP, ATU.

NB completed & ok.   Now I am doing the KSB with modification 
questions.  Scott, Elecraft, sent me an addendum sheet (KI6WX, dt 7/18/02) 
& capacitors for the bandwidth.  I will use the Heil Traveler boom mike for 
the K2.

Not knowing about the past problems, here are my questions:

A. "Crystal Filter Bandwidth Mod":  I have the mod cap's from Elecraft. 
 From what I can gather, it might be best for me to install the lettered 
cap's             for a bandwith of 2.5khz.  Is this correct.????

B. "Improved 2nd. Xtal Filter Flatness Mod";  This mod was as built, I 
assume on all > #3000.  No question.  Done.

C. "KSB2 Increased Gain Mod":  Do I install now?  I will have to purchase 
some parts to install, Pn2222, 82.0 & 2.7k resistors.
      I assume I should obtain parts & install now??

Thank you for your help.  There has been so much history & investigation by 
KI6WX & N0SS that I don't want to create the wheel.
