[Elecraft] Spurious signal after k2 click mod

Well, Vic, I've done some better testing this morning. I called a chap
across town to listen. He couldn't hear anything wrong (but could hear
a lot right). Then I put the K2 on a dummy and listened on both my
Drakes, 2C and R4B, and the signal sounded clean: no spurious signals,
no clicks. Last night, I had monitored my signal with antenna, and it
is clear that what I was hearing in the 2C (but not the R4B) was just
due to overload.

So I'm not sure what's happening with your K2. How close to you was
the chap who indicated hearing the spurious signal? As I indicated
last night, and as I showed again this morning, artifacts like that can
happen with a very strong local signal.

best wishes, and good luck,

dave belsley, w1euy
