Yes, you rambled on a bit, but it was very well organized ramblings. You
derrived why a filter is not going to fix clix. The specs would be
unreasonable. Remember, a filter could go on either the Tx or the Rx,
doesn't matter. If it could be filtered reasonably, we'd buy good clix
filters for our recievers and let our poor neighboors clix along in peace.

You have just proved why we must not produce the clix, rather than try to
figure out how to filter them. The s-shaped rise and fall curves do just
that, and don't require excessive post-processing filtration.
