Was reading your post on the Elecraft reflector, about how military ops 
were taught to copy code by typing the msg, but had to read it afterward 
to know what was sent.

Just wanted to chime in, I copied CW for a living a while ago, and all of 
our traffic, and most military traffic of the day, was encrypted.  Soooo, 
there was no chance of "reading" it while you copied it (which actually 
makes it WAY easier to copy fast code b/c you're not getting distracted by 
content).   Even after it was subsequently decrypted, in plain text it was 
just a collection of brevity code items, so would've been hard to 
understand it then, either.

Love my K2, just need to work out a plate-modulated AM mod for it :)
