I had not intended to do much in this contest considering that 
conditions to the USA would not be favourable. But I was pleasantly 
surprised and ended up spending far too much time in the shack! 
Certainly 15m was good on Sunday afternoon and I was fortunate to 
catch the 10m opening on Saturday and the much shorter ones on 
Sunday. It looks as if there has been quite a lot of interest in the 
QRP section from the UK this year.

As usual in all contest the K2, in conjunction with EI5DIs Super 
Duper on my old laptop worked flawlessly. Hearing a lot of very 
strong stations calling CQ endlessly and not hearing me or anybody 
else calling them reinforced the fact that the K2 has excellent close 
in IMP performance which is not shared by many of the other rigs used 
by contesters. And quite a lot of stations had very real keyclicks 
(not K2's I suspect...).
