[Elecraft] Do I need to upgrade my QRP-K2/ Clean Signals...

Hey Gang,

The one thing that comes to mind about this current mod and QRP rigs is the
DX-peditions that have used the K2 very successfully at QRP levels with 0
complaints. Yes, we should strive to make sure our transmissions are
"Friendly" to other ops, and not QRM their QSO's, but I haven't had a single
complaint...

The way I look at it is, my K2 works FB the way it is...do I need to spend
another $19.00 for the CW Upgrade + $44.00 for the firmware upgrade, plus
shipping and CA sales tax for something that I don't really need?

If it were that big of a problem, I'd think that Wayne, Eric and the people
at Elecraft would admit there was a HUGE problem and be handing the parts
out to fix it for free just like any other respectable company. After all,
that's about the price of another small QRP kit ;-)

I'm sure that the past kits meet all FCC guide lines for interference or
something would have been done to fix it long before this...after all we're
into 4000+ K2's...
