Alas, in my case I 'lost' my 40 mtr antenna. For the past few months =
I've been staying with my parents helping out with a family medical =
emergency. In addition to my Sigma GT5 (20-10 mtr on ANT1) I was able to =
string up a W9INN 80/40 dipole (ANT2). I'd never used both ANT inputs =
'simultaneously' before. What a blast, having so much of the amateur HF =
spectrum available! The K2/KATU (& memories) made it a snap to =
instantly tune 80 thru 10 on nothing more than a whim. OK, so it =
doesn't take much to entertain me ;)
Anyway, now the emergency is over and I'm back at my condo with no way =
to get on 40/80 mtrs (no dipoles allowed). I didn't realize how much I =
missed those bands and I'm searching for a stealthy 'CC&R friendly' 40 =
(and hopefully 80) mtr antenna solution.=20
Might take me a while but in the immortal words of the Governator... =
'I'll be baak'
