[Elecraft] K2 Speaker switch?

Jack,

If I understand your requirements correctly - you want to always have the
external output available and simply turn off the internal speaker with the
switch, I make the following suggestion:

Add a jack on the lower part of the K2 and wire the audio directly from the
RF board (in parallel with the existing wiring for the speaker). Since
there is not room for a switch on the KPA100, I would recommend that you
simply stick an unwired plug into the external speaker jack to disable the
internal speaker. There is room for a switch on the QRP top cover, but not
room that I can see in the KPA100.
