[Elecraft] K2 (3956) and KAT1000 loss of signal

While using my K2 this evening I noticed a sudden change in receive =
signal strength and low audio volume level.  I completely disconnected =
the KAT100 autotuner and the signal came back to normal.  Next, I =
re-connected the autotuner and got low signal strength, but when I =
disconnected the DB9 connector at J3 the signal returns to normal signal =
strength.  Is there any way to effectively trouble shoot this =
communication link?  In other words, is the problem in the K2 or the =
KAT100? =20
