[Elecraft] K2 Sidetone

Just got a new (to me) K2 in the mail today. Great little rig.... however,
there is one problem that may be operator error so thought I would ask here
before digging too deep.  All functions work as advertised except the
sidetone, there isn't any. I set the level as high as it would go, but still
nothing. The SPOT function does not work either. Am I missing a setting
someplace? Anyone have an idea of what it could be?
