Well just about everything that could have happened to signals happened today. My
rig did not catch on fire nor did my antenna fall down. I can be thankful for that! My
first check in was from the very first person to check in to ECN in June of last year.
Thanks Gary! I ran through a few Easterns before the band just seemed to melt away.
Tom came along somewhere in there so I passed the NCS hat to him. He tried but then
passed NCS duties to Bill (K1EV) in Connecticut. Bill ran a string of stations while I was
being pummelled by some one tuning up. Then there was a Y station causing a pileup
on top of us. That made thing interesting! It appears he was popular to say the least.
So through the QSB, QRN, and QRM we handled 13 check ins. I think I have most of
the serial numbers in order but there may be a few mistakes ;)

The QNS:

VE1RGB - Gary - NS - K2 - 2519
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008 Relay
WA4YBL - Jamie - TN - K1 - 1002
N4OI - Ken - NC - lost you before I could get your information :(
K1EV - Bill - CT - K2 - 2152
AA3WF - Mychael - PA - K2 - 1025 (This is where I first heard you :)
W2SR - Bob - NJ - K2 - 1370
N2YC - John - NY - KX1 - 336
N7NLU - Karl - OR - K1 - 1663
KD0RC- Len - CO - K2 - 2239
W0QQS - Bruce - MN - K2 - 3636
N6JW - John - CA - K2 - 3290
N4SO - Ken - AL - K2 - 3394

I hope I didn't miss anyone nor confuse their serial number with anyone else's. If I did
I am sorry. The band was not as good as I would have like.

Until next week 73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class).
