After you awaken, you might try this:

Set CF1 and CF3 to LPASS, and set CF2 and CF4 to the narrow CW filter that
you desire.

Pressing AFIL will still step you through CF1..4, but the effect will be a
toggle between LPASS and your_desired_filter.
