[Elecraft] My biggest ergonomic issue (K2 DSP)

OK, I just finished operating 37 hours in a 48-hour CW contest this
weekend and before I hit the sack, here is what I learned:
1) The DSP does a GREAT job of making super-weak CW signals readable,
but it requires a very narrow b/w (50 or 100 Hz) to do this. I made
QSOs I would not have made without it. I do not find the wider
positions useful; the xtal filter is fine for wider bandwidths.
2) Having to HOLD the filter button 3 times to change from lowpass to 50
Hz drives me NUTS! And the *&@# button bounces sometimes and changes
the xtal filter setting. I though of making the first filter the narrow
one, but then I'd still have to hold the button 3 time the next time.
I want to be able to just turn the high selectivity on and off. Don't
tell me to use a rig-control program, because I need my contest logging
program running. For what it's worth I used the NR the whole time and
it was a big help. I'm going to take a nap now.
