The only things Elecraft says, on the back of their soldering tutorial
that is shipped with the kit, are (I've edited down the full page of
warnings):
-----------------------------------------------
1. DO NOT USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Acid-core solder
Water-soluble flux solder
Any kind of solvent or paste flux
2. RECOMMENDED SOLDER AND TOOLS:
Kester 44 or similar solder.
-------------------------------------------------
And, from their web site:
------------------------------------------------
Recommended solder:=20
Kester "44" rosin core solder (.020 or .031 diameters are easiest to
use).=20
Radio Shack .022" 62/36/2 silver-bearing solder. (#64-013), $3.79 for a
1.5 oz roll.=20
Any 60/40 or 63/37 rosin flux based solder.=20
Temperature-controlled soldering station, Mouser #578-WTCPT, with PTF-7
tip (Mouser and other tools suppliers are listed below)=20
-------------------------------------------------
I'm sure your 63/37 will be fine.
