You didn't say whether the K2 had ever worked, or whether this is part
of the first time to try transmitting.
If it is the first time to try transmitting, look for a missing in-line
capacitor.
I don't recall the number, but it's on the RF board schematic along the
bottom
of the page.  If it is accidentally left out, no low level RF will make
its way to the PA and there will be no output.
