I noticed a considerable drop off on receive sensitivity at first in my KX1, in decreasing order: 40m, 20m, 30m.

After very *carefully* re-aligning all three bands, in this order: 20m, 30m, 40m, the situation was much, much improved.

When I originally tried the alignment, the tool I was using was slightly conductive, so hand capacitance was having a big effect. Taping the shank of the tool fixed that problem.

Also, I found the peaks very broad, and that the settings interact with each other a lot. But after taking my time, using on the air signals as a source, I am now happy with the outcome. There is still some difference, with 40m being best, but you have to switch bands and listen to them comparatively to hear it.
