Generally, Elecraft recommends AGAINST cleaning flux from your PC 
boards.  The reason being that it's too easy to get the dissolved flux into 
devices (like pots and variable capacitor contacts) where it can cause 
problems.

In most instances, if you are using a good quality (Kester, Multicore, 
Alpha Metals, Radio Shack) electronic solder which doesn't contain 
excessive amounts of rosin (preferably in the 0.02" to 0.03" diameter 
range) the small amount of residual rosin will NOT be a problem. If the 
solder you're using leaves excessive amounts of rosin, then it might be 
wise to consider changing brands or diameters of solder.
