There are three possibilities. make sure you have the serial port
working on the K2. The KRC2 requires
that the K2's serial port be turned on to be able to send the CW send
command to the K2. Switching
the RxAnt on and off (Hold F3) also requires this.
Make sure you actually have something programmed into the CW text
buffers. It is amazing how many folks forget to do this, but if nothing
is programmed into the buffer, then that is exactly what will be sent -
nothing!
Lastly, make sure the slide switch is in the OP position. If it isn;t,
the KRC2 will be trying to talk to a PC, and not the K2.
Let me know if you need any more help. It sounds like you probably have
a working KRC2, but don't quite have the RS-232 communications going.
