Your frequency shift problem reminds me of the "ELECRAFT K2 BUILDER
ALERT #16: Correcting K2 Frequency Shift on Transmit", 26 February,
2002: "Some K2 operators have reported seeing the operating frequency
shift up or down one VFO step at a time (10, 50, or 1000 Hz) as the rig

This anomalous frequency shift was corrected in software revisions 202e
and later, so your problem must be a different one, unless it resurfaces
in a different disguise.
