Good Evening once again,
ECN/1 went very well but as the net was starting a fellow from AK
called me and asked if I wanted to accept some traffic. I said yes but
could he please wait. So after the 20 meter net I copied 5 pieces of
traffic and get numerous fills because of the QRN and wee bit of QRM.
Then the time was right to get on the Oregon Section Net. I checked in
and sent my traffic. By that time it was a few minutes before ECN/2. I
had a chance to tune up and I got started. So I was on the air from 2255z
until 0252z. May not sound like a long time to you contesters but it sure
kept me hoping :)
20 meters was productive as was 40 meters. We had some folks show up I
hadn't heard from in while so that was very nice. We also had many of the
regulars and a few new folks. That was also very nice. Thanks to K1EV we
got a few more. But I think I could have had good copy with WA7BOC with
two cans and a string! My ears are still ringing from his K2. Wow Roger
your signal was very strong on 40 meters. Good job on whatever antenna
you put up :)

I will list both lists this evening in one report because I had no time
in between to post the first one.

As ever any errors are mine and will be corrected after the submission of
correct information. You don't need to remit that service fee we formerly
requested :) Seriously, it was a hectic day for me. Just got in the door
to start the net after messing with broken vehicles and the normal
dealings with relatives :) If there are any errors I'll post my abject
apologies and a correction. Mea culpa.

Thanks for your support gang. I appreciated it.
    73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class).
