I am running a K2 remote - using GOTOMYPC to access the computer and
SKYPE for the audio (good quality and VERY LOW latency). The host
machine runs N4PY software and Writelog for everything else - like rotor
control, DX spotting, CW keying, Digital Voice Keyer (two sound cards),
etc. Works VERY FB.

I am working on a second system using the remote Desktop functions of
Xppro and so far so good - I like it better then GOTO and there is no
cost. One reason I originally used GOTO and now XP remote is that it can
be accessed from ANY computer via a browser - you don't need a copy of a
viewer software on the client - only SKYPE.

Ham Radio Deluxe also works well as a control program - but does not
have CW keying so the combination of N4PY and Writelog works better for
me (actually - N4PY also has CW - but I already use WL for contesting
anyway).

The crowning touch was to have the Griffin Powermate Knob on the client
- something that had been missing in my 20 years of playing with remote
control stations.
