I recently replaced three linear supplies in my shack (I was running my
K2/100 plus two other rigs off of them) with a new Astron RS-50M for only
$209 from a non-amateur outfit I found on the Web (the least expensive it
could be found from an amateur dealer was $239).  It now quietly and
cooly powers everything and I have more desk space available.

Being a weak-signal DXer, I always shy away from the switchers.
