I very much wanted to check in, but from here in Central California I 
couldn't copy you.  I MAY have heard you in there, but nowhere near loud 
enough to copy.  I did hear many other stations checking in with 
excellent signals.

I notice that N0SS, K6SE, and others were QSPing to you stations that 
you were having trouble reading.  May I suggest that you allow a relay 
station to act as a sort of secondary NCS and call for stations that 
can't hear YOU as well.
