The KAT100 has to be turned on at the same time as the K2/100 or before, 
or it can lose bus synchronization.  The easiest way to do this is to 
just connect it to the same power supply as the K2/100.  There is no 
separate connector on the K2/100, so you need to connect the KAT100 to 
your power supply or make a Y cable of some kind.

Changing bands on the K2 also switches the KAT100.  You do not have to 
transmit.  Changing bands also switches antennas, if you have set a 
different antenna for different bands.  It's cool if you have two 
antennas, because you never have to do anything more than switch bands 
on the K2.
