...When normal folks in these parts are pulling pink and silver salmon from
the local waters, I made the final correction to my lack of building
techniques.

I hooked K2 3718 up to the OHR dummy load and WM2 watt meter.  Low and
behold I have full output on all bands.  Great!  Turned the switch from the
dummy load to the Traffie Hexbeam and tuned to 20M and called CQ.  Nothing!
Tried again...  still nothing.  I know the antenna is correct, RX works,
have full output according to the meters... what could it be?

Alas!  Crappy band conditions.  That must be it!  Answered a weak CQ and the
young 3718 spoke its first words.

Thanks to everyone for their help and to Gary and Scott for knowing right
away that R50 was the culprit.

Now for Dr. AB7R to give rise to some extra K2 features for the new child.

Ok... I know that all sounds stupid.

So thanks all --  a lot.  KNB2 is done and almost done with the KSB2.
