[Elecraft] Auxbus driver

All,

This is a better subject line than the one on my previous post.

I guess that I started something without intending to. I never advocated
connecting any RS-232 voltage to an AuxBus signal. hat I advocated was
converting whatever signals you needed to convert into another level to make
them reach the remote location. The web page I sited shows how to do this
for 12 volt and 5 volt signal levels in both directions so it works for
AuxBus as well as the other signals.

I admit that I didn't know at the time that we were talking about AuxBus
rather than RS-232 but that doesn't matter. Flames were not necessary.

The possibility of propagation delays causing trouble is another issue. I
would very much like to hear from Elecraft on the possibility that
propagation delays may cause problems.
