[Elecraft] Auxbus driver

I second the motion for this option for the K2 to remotely mount the =
KAT-100.
I wonder how long a control line anyone has gotten away with so far? =
Most K2's
are not used in a field with a longwire hanging out the back, so it =
doesn't make=20
sense to have a wide range tuner available only at the radio. Most of =
us
like to run coax to a remote tuner if the geography is not amenable to a =
balun and
open wire or ladder line. I think SGC has created a whole industry on =
this concept . . .

Naa, does nothing for me and I'm not entering this strange paradigm =
where
just because it's Elecraft I've got to have one. Itchy soldering iron =
hand
or not.

However, I would be interested in a Aux-bus line driver pair capable of
communicating up a co-ax cable to a weather proofed KAT-100, where it =
should
be, at the far end of the co-ax. Maybe build in some extra antenna =
switching
functionality or just remotely co-locate one of these aux-box thingies,
can't remember the K??????, which I haven't got a use for IN the shack.
