Ah, I see the reason for the question. The image on the web site is only of
the "top" side of the main board. The "bottom" side of that board also has
lots of parts including the toroids, xtals for the I.F. filter, etc.

The KX1 has toroids, never fear. There's a torodial transformer driving the
PA stage and two torodial inductors in the output band pass filter

Real hams will have to order the KX1 with the KXAT1.....I couldn't find
any torroids on the KX1 so to make it a real radio going to have to
order the KXAT1 to just get my fill of torroids.
