[Elecraft] First Time Transceiver builder

Hello to the list

I am trying to figure out what Elecraft model to buy and build for the
first time.

I have as yet only built a small SLA battery charger from
www.hfprojects.com
 and have the QRP amp from the same group waiting to be built.

I must say I have been bitten by the kit bug. It is a rather nice
feeling
When you have finished assembling something like that yourself instead 
of just buying it ready made. :)

My question is, which would be recommended to build a K1-2, K1-4
Or just go for the gusto and get the K2.

I am just trying out my fist at CW and right now sounds more
Like a 2 year old with a set big building blocks.
So the K1s are an intriguing idea.

And my second question

How well would the K1 or K2's internal tuners tune something like the
Whip antenna off say a PRC-104 Military Manpack. (this is more aimed at
The K2 when I finally get one, hihi)

All opinions will be greatly appreciated.
