All the bands could be set to 3.5 MHz (I guess - never tried it), but 
there is only one in which the correct bandpass filter would be switched 
in to allow you to receive and transmit 80M signals. Once you find that 
band, repeatedly pressing the Band+ switch will send you to the next 
higher frequency. I don't think it's possible to incorrectly align the 
filters such that they all work on the same band.

Let's hope nobody ever has to actually try this.
