The most common knob folks add to the K2 is the Yaesu FT-100 knob - it has a
rubber ring and a dimple. I have chosen to use the knob from the Yaesu
FT-900 which is heavier and deeper, has a rubber ring but no dimple. You
can view my K2 with the FT-900 knob on my website www.qsl.net/w3fpr. I find
no use for knob dimples, but I do roll my thumb around the front edge of the
knob, so the sharp rim corner of the stock K2 knob is not good for me YMMV.

| I saw one of the K2s had a different knob and I think they said it was

| A Kenwood, might have been a 570, but don't quote me, it was about the
| same
| size as the K2 original, but had the rubber outer and tuning dimple.
